What are Cart Features?

TryNow offers a set of features that can be added to your minicart to visually display information related to TryNow products.

These features ensure that when a customer adds a product with the Try Before You Buy button in your minicart:

• Show that a product was added to cart with the TryNow selling plan (Program Details).
• Show the actual amount they'll have to pay today (Subtotals).
• Set limits to how many TryNow products can be in the cart (Cart Limits).

Prerequisites

Editable Minicart drawer or Cart page code

In order to apply TryNow Cart features, it's necessary to make a few edits to your current minicart (also known as Cart Drawer) and ensure that these edits remain intact without being overwritten by other code. The edits will vary depending on whether your cart is built with Liquid or JavaScript. The following documentation will guide you on how to apply cart features in both cases.

Enable TryNow App Embed

Make sure you have TryNow's app embed enabled in your theme.

This will give you access to the window.trynow.cart object which contains methods that will allow you to add cart features.
