What Shopify Automatically Suppresses

At this time, Shopify automatically hides most express checkout methods (like Shop Pay and Apple Pay) when a TryNow item is in the cart. This is unfortunately a Shopify limitation — feel free to share feedback with your Shopify MSM requesting this feature.

What TryNow Suppresses

TryNow automatically also suppresses PayPal as an express checkout option in Checkout. PayPal authorizations have an extremely short "honor window" of only 3 days, which leads to frequent reauthorizations and a poor shopper experience.

Note:

If you currently have a PayPal express checkout button in your Cart page or in your minicart, your developer will need to add logic to suppress PayPal if there is a TryNow item in cart.
